At most trials we pay trial workers with lunch and vouchers. Check the "Volunteer" section in the premium to see if it is an Earn/Redeem Voucher trial. You can also check the website under "Upcoming Events." God to the show you are interested in and under "Event's Details." it will say "Earn/Redeem Vouchers" if you can work for vouchers and/or use vouchers towards your entry fees. The amount of the voucher is based on the size of the class. The average class is $5.00. The vouchers can be used to pay for future shows put on by Lynda Tjarks when it says "Earn/Redeem Vouchers."
The first $5.00 you earn goes towards a delicious lunch and drinks. After that you are paid with a voucher before you leave in the amount you earned throughout the trial. These vouchers are non-transferable and expire in one year. Pam Metzger is in charge of scheduling the people who work at southern CA trials. Please email her at email@example.com to be put on the workers list or to get more information.
We are always looking for course builders, people to help set-up, and people to help break down the rings at the end of the show. We try to schedule these people in advance. For information and pay rates email Lynda at firstname.lastname@example.org
In Northern CA the clubs pay with vouchers that are only redeemable at their shows. Each club chooses how much to pay the workers. It will be listed in the premium in the volunteer section or you can email Lynda at email@example.com for the details. We do not pre-schedule volunteers. Instead there will be a white board at each ring with the openings for the next class and you can write yourself in. You will be paid when you go in and work the class.
